Star Rug Cleaners is certified by the California State Fire Marshal as an applicator of flame retardant material, ID No. GA-1191.
According to local and state fire safety codes, materials such as draperies, stage curtains, display tablecloth, partitions or any vertical material in a public gathering enclosed space must be inherently flame retarded or be treated with a flame retardant substance.
Star Rug Cleaners treats such materials in accordance with the State Fire Marshal's regulations.
The fee is $7.00 per square yard of material with a $100.00 minimum charge.
A certificate of compliance and appropriate documentation is supplied with this service which must be presented to a fire inspector on demand. (see_photo_to_right_)
